Young Deer Antlers?

That's what these frost-covered catalpa  branches, glistening in the morning sun, brought to my mind. Sunshine and frost, though, make everything lovely. A clear, blue sky after a warm holiday at home -- what could be better?

  1. Looks like a beautiful day in the north. We had sunshine yesterday too, took Katie for a walk around the neighborhood with my brother and his girlfriend. Was fun, though she, being from El Salvador, was cold. We thought it was balmy. :)

  2. Sunshine on fresh snow is great, isn't it? I've been enjoying your expeditions vicariously -- today, ice cream straight from the cow?!

  3. Pamela...I love the deer antlers image, especially the "corona" of light surrounding its edges. Karen

    1. That's what reminded me of young antlers, Karen -- the fuzzy outlines. Sumac, too....
