I Have Become Invisible


Clearly, it's time to close up shop and go home.

"It's a parking space," the driver said with a shrug. Actually, it's a couple of parking spaces, and I'm betting there's room in the parking lots around town, but it's Sunday afternoon, and it's a little after 3 o'clock, and I'm done for the day!

Hawk Time Is Here Again


Yes, it's that time of year. Hawks seem to be everywhere -- on fenceposts, in treetops, and in the air. They are easier to spot than to catch on camera, but once in a while one cooperates long enough to be, as it were, captured. In pixels, that is. Doesn't this bird's tail look like the train of a royal robe?
