The laundry was in the dryer, and it was a beautiful day, and we were right on the edge of a trail I'd never explored, so -- Oh, my friends! People had told me I "had to" visit this garden, but it was so much more than I ever dreamed it would be, even at the end of October! If you are in Leelanau County, get yourself right over there now! Otherwise, put Leo Creek Preserve in Suttons Bay on your list for next year's vacation. Suggest you take a picnic lunch, as there are tables and benches hidden away in the most charming corners.
