What a week! Wild leeks and peeper chorus on Wednesday, twin great-grandsons on Friday, and now, Saturday morning, this pretty little showoff. Much smaller than the showoff turkeys, but ruffed grouse have that Elizabethan thing going on, in addition to spread tails.
