It's a Jungle Out There
All over the Up North countryside, nature provides riotous color in July.
There are many creatures busy in the jungle, too. Here's just one.
And lest you think the riots are limited to the countryside, here's one jungly urban pocket in Northport, the site of the original Dog Ears Books in 1993. What next for this spot? All will be revealed in time.

I forget to stop by your photography blog and that's a pity because you have such great pictures over here. It IS a jungle out there at this time of year. Aren't we lucky that we get to live in both a jungle AND Siberia?
ReplyDeleteSeems like I want to photograph everything every day because it changes so fast. We're pretty much jungle too at the moment...though ours are mostly weeds.
ReplyDeleteMy usual way into the east woods this morning is much more difficult now that the grasses are as tall as I am and the bindweed wants to trip me up at every step. Kathy, funny you should mention Siberia because I was thinking this morning about going out with Sarah in winter and how different it is. But yes, whatever the season, every day is different, Dawn. Isn't it great?
ReplyDeleteThe Flowers are Beautiful, but so is the Jungle. Funny, but that is the One that Caught my Eye.
