Not many words in this blog but, now and then, a few of my photographs--
Don't you love how farmers markets are popping up everywhere? I could go to a different one everyday in my area. Nothing like local produce to make you feel good about your purchase. Now, I'm off to buy some sweet corn!
ReplyDeleteSweet corn? Where? It will be a while before we have any locally.
ReplyDeleteOh mercy--and to think I spent the morning in the library. I am a fool. A hungry fool.
ReplyDeleteWe might have sweet corn here in very lower MI...but probably not quite local yet. And Sara lives further south. And it's never foolish to go to a library...lol...unless you're missing the farmer's market...that might be foolish. Your farmer's market is beautiful! We have a new one here in town...first year... 4 weeks old. It has a way to go. Did get really nice strawberries there a couple of weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteGerry, the brick in that first shot is our township library! Very close to the market, so no reason not to do both in one morning in Northport!
ReplyDeleteThe first year of our market, Dawn, it was pretty slim pickings. Last year it came fully into its own, but we are as yet in no danger of taking it for granted. Treasure, treasure, treasure--and all so beautiful!
