Color Riot for the Feast of St. John

There is the St. Johnswort, right on time. But gardens, roadsides, and fields alike are full of color today. It's everywhere.

My gift peonies were cut two weeks ago, and I was thinking it was the end of their time with me. After cutting off the faded blossoms, however, I decided there are still more flowers to come.

Then there is my haul from this morning's farm market. More color. June is a month of color Up North, almost making us forget we ever had winter.

This is the 600th post of A Shot in the Light. Thank you for enjoying Michigan scenery with me.
