Taking a drawing class and working in charcoal have got me thinking more and more about dark and light, so I wondered what these bright yellow flowers would look like drained of their color. Below is the answer.

Lovely, but I vote for the yellow. Guess I'm sick of the monochromatic tones of winter. Karen
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, Karen. That bright yellow, especially of the daffodil, is not something I want to give up -- and yet, that particular image feels ethereal to me in black-and-white, also.
