I confess, Dawn--I zoomed. The turkeys were crossing the highway when I came up the hill, and I pulled over to wait for them, then got out of the car as quietly as possible. Still, they were walking very quickly away from me, down into the orchard, so I was glad a couple of them turned their heads for the camera.
