How cold does this woolly bear think winter will be? Thanksgiving Day was balmy for the caterpillar's adventures and explorations, although I must confess I found it in the driveway and placed it in the mulberry tree for the camera's sake.

ReplyDeleteBecause the brown bad is wide? I couldn't remember how to read the woolly bear. But how long can winter be, when fall has gone right through November?
ReplyDeleteNever underestimate winter! I can't remember either...but I think it's the width of the brown band. On the other hand we can hope we are mistaken! :)
