Not many words in this blog but, now and then, a few of my photographs--
Yes.But there will be compensations.
I'm predict that I'll be so engrossed by the compensations that I'll forget all about shadows on the snow. You, too, I'll bet, Gerry.
Love the shadows on snow. Last winter, toward the end I was engrossed in taking a photo of a tree in the yard and the shadows on the snow. Maybe someday I'll paint that.
What medium do you use, Dawn? I can see the shadows done as watercolor, but watercolor always strikes me as the hardest kind of painting to do well. I am way too chicken to try--just barely brave enough to do pencil sketching.
shadows in pencil work really well...also try soft pastels...I think you'd like those.
Cool Pictures, Grath. I'm sort of Impressed by the Lack of Foot Prints. Around Here that doesn't Last Long.
We have plenty of trampled snow, too, Lista. It’s a matter of choosing where to photograph. That middle shot is bugging me. Wish I’d cropped it before posting, slicing off the top where those distracting branches are. Please hold your hand up to block out the offending pixels. Thank you!
