Before the Big Melt


Lake Michigan has been bluer than blue under recent sunny skies, even when whitecaps dot the water's surface.

  3. That is blue indeed. Crayola should name such a hue Michigan Blue.

    Don't those horizon lines drive you nuts? Getting them dead on is such a challenge at times, especially if you're used to holding your head sideways.

  4. I love the "Michigan blue" idea, Amy-Lynn. "Crooked blue," while descriptive of my lake shots, wouldn't be anywhere near as good a name.
