Thanks for the feedback, Walt. I must have preferred the second shot, also, since that's the one I'm using for my screensaver. I think the diagonal line divides the frame better, though I hadn't been able to choose one over the other at first or give a reason for preferring either.

I prefer the bottom one, though I can't say precisely why.

ReplyDeleteThe important difference to me is the way Bird's head is tilted. I like the way he's perched in the top photo. Go figure.
And did you notice that big, big mouth? Must be a young one.
