Orchard Colors, Late Fall

 

The colors are almost too rich and varied to name. Even under cloudy skies the golds and oranges sing, and I swear there is deep purple, too, along with ruby red.

Many of the orchard trees seem to radiate their own light.

Still Lots of Color Left!

 

Alternating sun and rain in the past three or four days days have given us wet, gleaming leaves and dramatic, bright effects of light here in Leelanau County. Rain and wind have not yet stripped the leaves, either, so "peak" color just goes on and on. Gorgeous!
