To Be Balanced, we Need the ability to Both Get close and to also Step Back.

Here is what Came to me Later, though, about Getting Close, for if you were to Walk even Closer to the Object in the Close Up Shot, you would see your Own Reflection in the Water. I don't know if that is what you would want in Photography, but it has a lot to do with Life, for Allowing ourselves to Get Close to others is how we Learn about ourselves.Listahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11590249616509349170noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7380040530270530705.post-73144262073418994162012-01-13T02:40:57.315-08:002012-01-13T02:40:57.315-08:00Lista, I appreciate the thoughtful way you approac...Lista, I appreciate the thoughtful way you approach the images. If the Order would have been the Opposite, I would have Said, "From a Distance, here are your Options." and "Now that you have Chosen, come Closer and get to Know me a little Better." Just Like we Discussed earlier, when you Step Back, you get a Different View with New Information and when you Step Closer, you get a Different View with New Information. This is True in Photography and also in Life.Listahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11590249616509349170noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7380040530270530705.post-5137194427628225472012-01-12T17:24:17.448-08:002012-01-12T17:24:17.448-08:00I'm glad the order worked for you, Lista. They Look Nice as a Pair, from the Peaceful Simplicity of a Close Up, to the Striking Contrast of the Second one, revealing what is off in the Distance. I think the sharper contrast, along wit the midground shoreline trees at the right edge make the second photograph more striking, but I also like the serenity of the first, where is so little to be seen.P.
